Our 2021 Elders open with a deep and layered bouquet of dark fruit, rich fig, and ripe currant, intertwined with the exotic spice of star anise. Hints of blue fruit lend a lifted vibrancy, adding intrigue to this complex Cabernet Sauvignon. The first sip unveils a bold yet refined structure, where black licorice and juicy blue fruit take center stage. Warm baking spices, including a whisper of cinnamon, provide a delicate lift, while fig newton and graham cracker notes add richness to the mid-palate. A subtle touch of pie crust and ginger lingers on the finish, rounding out this expressive and impeccably balanced wine.

As the longest-standing farming family in the Stags Leap District, spanning five generations, we pay homage to our ancestors with the name "The Elders," honoring the enduring legacy that has shaped our vineyards and wines over the years.
