2015 Block 27 Cabernet Sauvignon

As seasoned farmers, we carve up our vineyard into little sections, called “blocks,” to keep track of distinct characteristics like grape varietal and vine age. Tucked away amongst acres of renowned Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, lies our most magical parcel; Block 27, which defies all explanation. Maybe it’s the dirt, maybe it’s the exact sunlight, but this special little block produces some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon in the entire world. The 2015 Block 27 Cabernet Sauvignon demonstrates what it means to be a Regusci Cabernet. The nose contains ripe, dark fruit combined with the softness of vanilla and mocha. Rounding out the flavors, this vintage finishes with a nice addition of baking spice and earthy tones. On the palate, it opens up with cedar and a welcome addition of dark chocolate. The Block 27 Cabernet Sauvignon has always carried great concentration and intensity topping off with a long rich finish, this vintage is no different! Pair this Cabernet with a rack of lamb and maple-roasted Brussels sprouts, you won’t be sorry.
