Ingredients
- 2 bunches of basil
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 3 medium garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp sliced almonds or walnuts, toasted
- 1 cup Regusci extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Directions
- In a food processor, first add the garlic, nuts, olive oil, and parsley. Blend to a smooth consistency
- Add in basil, blend until smooth
- Lastly, add the salt, pepper, and parmesan
- If saving pesto for later, pour a layer of olive oil on top of your pesto in the jar to keep it fresh
