2020 Prohibited Red Wine

The 2020 growing season began with a warm, dry winter which kickstarted budbreak in early spring. As warm days turned into cool evenings, quality flavors and complexities were able to develop throughout the summer months. The 2020 Prohibited opens with aromas of violets, vanilla bean and sweet tobacco. The palate offers flavors of black cherry, red plum, and a pinch of herbs. The blend consists of 47.5% Malbec, 24% Syrah, 19% Zinfandel and 9.5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium tannins and finish; this wine is fruity and balanced and best served with good company, pizza, and Italian food.
