Pesto

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches of basil
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 3 medium cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of sliced almonds or walnuts, toasted
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan
  • 1 cup of Regusci extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, first add the garlic, nuts, EVOO, and parsley. Blend to a smooth consistency
  2. Add in basil, blend until smooth
  3. Lastly, add the salt, pepper, and parmesan
  4. If saving pesto for later, pour a layer of EVOO on top of your pesto in the jar to keep it fresh
